Arrival & Transfer to Hotel
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport. Transfer to your hotel for a briefing. Optional city tour to visit craft markets if time allows.
Domestic Flight to Kisoro
Transfer to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Kisoro. Enjoy aerial views of the Virunga Volcanoes. Transfer to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Gorilla Tracking Experience
The Big Event: Hike the volcanic slopes to find the Nyakagezi Gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour observing them play and feed in the bamboo forest.
Batwa Pygmy Trail
Walk the ancient forest trails with the Batwa elders. Learn their secrets of hunting, fire-making, and herbal medicine in the Garama Cave.
Volcano Climbing (Sabinyo or Muhavura)
Choose your challenge: Hike Mt. Sabinyo (to stand in 3 countries at once) or Mt. Muhavura for the crater lake. Enjoy panoramic views of Rwanda and Congo.
Golden Monkeys & Lake Bunyonyi
Morning Golden Monkey Trekking to see these rare, active primates. After lunch, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation by the deepest lake in Uganda.
Drive to Entebbe via Equator
Scenic drive back to Entebbe. Stop at the Equator for photos and the Royal Drum Factory in Mpigi. Drop off at the airport.
