3 Days – Queen Elizabeth National Park

This 3-day safari takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems which include sprawling savanna, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands. It is the ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP via Equator

Pick up from Kampala/Entebbe at 7:00 AM. Stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and experiments. Continue to Mbarara for lunch at Igongo Cultural Center.

Proceed to the park, enjoying a mini evening game drive as you head to your lodge.

Day 2 Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Start with an early morning game drive (6:30 AM) in the Kasenyi Sector to spot lions, leopards, and herds of Uganda Kobs. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relaxation.

In the afternoon (2:00 PM), embark on a 2-hour Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This connects Lakes Edward and George and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

Day 3 Morning Game Drive / Chimp Tracking & Return

Optional: Visit Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking (extra cost) OR enjoy a scenic drive through the crater lakes region.

Begin the journey back to Kampala, with a lunch stop in Mbarara. Drop off at your hotel or Entebbe Airport in the late evening.
